Roofing — weathered in Alaska.
Anchorage roofers cut from the original Alaska stock. Sourdoughs: the old-timers whose starter survived the cold. The same idea, on your roof — cold-rated systems, engineered for Zone 4 snow load, installed by a crew that has shoveled out of every winter since the pipeline went in.
What earns the
Sourdough name.
Three non-negotiables that the cheechako contractors out of Wasilla won't match. If a competing bid skips any of them, it isn't a real estimate — it's a callback waiting.

Cold-Rated Underlayment
Self-adhered ice-and-water shield on every eave, every valley, every pipe. No exceptions, no upsell — it goes on because Anchorage is in Climate Zone 7.
ASTM D1970 · -40°F PEEL TEST - STD. 02

Steam Off The Ice
The last
eight calls.
Pulled straight from the dispatch board. We don't scrub the names from the neighborhoods — if you're from Spenard and you've seen our truck, that's the point.
“We had a sheet of ice the size of a kitchen table backed up under the eave. They were on the roof at 8am steaming it off and the leak stopped that day.”
“Got three quotes. Theirs was the only one that actually walked the attic and explained the load math instead of just selling shingles.”

Eagle River, Chugiak.
If your roof line is visible from Glen Alps, we cover it. We do not drive to the Valley for residential work — Wasilla and Palmer homeowners, call a Mat-Su crew. We'll vouch for two of them.

We've been
on Anchorage roofs
since 2009.
Started after the 2009 February cold snap shredded half the asphalt roofs in the bowl. Three of us, one truck, working out of a 6th Avenue unit. Still in the same unit. Same three of us.
Most of our work comes from people we've roofed for once already, or their neighbor. We do the same thing whether you heard about us from a friend or from a Google search at 2am when something started dripping: pick up the phone, drive over, look at it honestly, tell you what it is.
